AURA Architecture worked on the transformation of an existing HMO in Muswell Hill into nine self-contained apartments designed for the private residential market.

Design & Planning Strategy

The design explored how the existing property could support a higher-quality residential scheme while making efficient use of the footprint, combining refurbishment, substantial architectural interventions and planning-led optimisation.

Development Value & Outcome

The resulting nine-apartment scheme balances density with usable layouts, daylight and residential quality, creating a coherent development from a previously underperforming asset.
