Project Overview
AURA Architecture secured planning to modernise and extend this 19th-century Kensington property, creating ten high-quality studio apartments while retaining the architectural character of the original building.
Design & Planning Strategy
The development includes an additional floor, rear extensions, a garden office and conversion of existing vault space for bathrooms, responding to the proportions of the host property while increasing residential capacity.
Development Value & Outcome
Existing fabric, new extensions and previously underused areas are coordinated to create a more efficient residential asset in a high-value London location.
